From the beginning of his career as an anthropologist,  Arango has always been highly motivated by the images, their interpretation and meanings, which has directed him to develop his own personal style in photography. He has worked for national and international companies as well advertising agencies. The Main part of his career has been developed in the United States.

He spent two years in Doha - Qatar at the Middle East where he created a series of portraits about the artists of the region as well reproducing art collections for different institutions such as Qatar Foundation, The Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art, Anima Gallery, among others.

Actually He is based in New York.
